COMMON MAGICAL SERVICES IN SIGIL

The following rituals are commonly available throughout Sigil. The cost for such services depends on the result of a Streetwise roll to seek out the best price. The time required for the service is equal to the ritual's casting time plus one hour for the Streetwise check. (If the heroes already have a "go-to" source for a specific ritual, the extra hour for the Streetwise check may be skipped but a "tip" of some sort ought to be paid.)

* 12 or less ... Component Cost plus full Market Value.
* 13 to 17 ... Component Cost plus one-half Market Value.
* 18 or better ... Component Cost only.

RITUALS

Amanuensis (Level 1)
Copies 250 words or one illustration from any written source, including ritual scrolls.
Component Cost: 10 gp. Market Price: 20 gp. Time: 10 minutes. Duration: Permanent.

Brew Potion (Level 1+)
Creates a potion. Using a potion is a minor action.
Component Cost: Varies with potion. Market Price: 75 gp. Time: 1 hour. Duration: Permanent until consumed.
* Potion of Healing (Level 5) ... Price: 50 gp. Spend a healing surge and regain 10 hp.
* Potion of Vigor (Level 9) ... Price: 160 gp. Spend a healing surge gain 15 temporary hp.
* Potion of Vitality (Level 15) ... Price: 1,000 gp. Spend a healing surge, regain 25 hp, and and make one saving throw against an effect on you that a save can end.

Create Holy Water (Level 1+)
Creates vial whose blessing lasts 24 hours and can be used to make a ranged 3/6 attack causing radiant damage to an undead creature or a demon. (The blessed water itself does not harm other creatures.) The item is consumed when used.
Component Cost: Varies by level. Market Price: 50 gp plus component cost. Time: 1 hour
* (Level 1) ... Component Cost: 20 gp. +4 vs. Reflex; 1d10 damage.
* (Level 6) ... Component Cost: 75 gp. +9 vs. Reflex; 1d10 damage.
* (Level 11) ... Component Cost: 350 gp. +14 vs. Reflex; 2d10 damage.

Enchant Magic Item (level 4+)
Creates a magic item equal to your level or lower using up the listed cost, or resize magical armor at no cost.
Component Cost: Varies by level of the item. Market Price: 175 gp. Time: 1 hour. Duration: Permanent.

Holy Water...
* Level 16 ... Component Cost: 1,800 gp. +19 vs. Reflex; 2d10 damage.
* Level 21 ... Component Cost: 9,000 gp. +24 vs. Reflex; 3d10 damage.

Transfer Enchantment (Level 4)
Switches magical power from one object to another object, most commonly from an enchanted weapon or armor to a different weapon or armor -- replacing the second object's magical enchantment if of lower level.
Component Cost: 25 gp. Market Price: 175 gp. Time: 1 hour. Duration: Permanent.

Delay Affliction (Level 4)
Suspends harm from a curse, enchantment, or madness that afflicts one subject, although the full effect returns in 1 day to 2 weeks. This ritual is most commonly used deal with lasting charms or domination, fear, confusion, insanity, polymorph or petrification effects. This ritual has no affect on diseases.
Component Cost: 50 gp. Market Price: 175 gp. Time: 30 minutes. Duration: Depends on caster's Heal check.

Disenchant Magic Item (Level 6+)
Reduces a magical item to residuum worth 20% the item's price.
Component Cost: 25 gp. Market Price: 360 gp. Time: 1 hour. Duration: Instantaneous.

Cure Disease (Level 6)
Wipes away a single disease in a subject, although the subject may suffer damage in the process. This ritual will not remove non-disease afflictions such as being petrified.
Component Cost: 150 gp. Market Price: 360 gp. Time: 10 minutes. Duration: Instantaneous.

Raise Dead (Level 8)
Restores weakened life to the corpse of a creature dead not more than 30 days. The subject awakens as if having taken an extended rest, cured of temporary effects but permanent effects remain, and will suffer a -1 penalty to all attack rolls, skill checks, saving throws, and ability checks until three milestones have been reached.
Component Cost: 500 gp. Market Price: 680 gp. Time: 8 hours. Duration: Instantaneous.

Remove Affliction (Level 8)
Ends a curse, enchantment, or madness that afflicts one subject, although the subject may suffer damage in the process. This ritual is most commonly used deal with lasting charms or domination, fear, confusion, insanity, polymorph or petrification effects. This ritual has no affect on diseases.

Scribe (Level 10)
Magical dictation writes what can be heard in normal listening range.
Component Cost: 200 gp. Market Price: 1,000 gp. Time: 10 minutes. Duration: 2 hours.
